We are looking for a Finance Assistant to support our Finance team over the summer, ideally from April to the end of August. You will support day-to-day accounting and reporting tasks. This role offers hands-on experience across core finance operations and is well suited for someone looking to build a strong foundation in accounting and financial reporting.

YOUR JOB IN A NUTSHELL:

• Handle invoices, including processing and preparing them for payment

• Create requisitions in Oracle

• Process invoices and support payment workflows

• Prepare weekly GGR (Gross Gaming Revenue) reports

• Assist with reconciliations, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and bank reconciliations

• Support the monthly closing process

• Prepare accruals and adjustment lists

• Post manual journal entries to the General Ledger

• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, including:

  • Revenue reports

  • Profit & Loss statements

• Process credit card payments

• University degree (or someone near the end of their studies) in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)

• Good attention to detail and organizational skills

• Basic understanding of accounting principles

• Familiarity with financial systems (e.g., Oracle) is an advantage
