We are now looking for a Product Owner (Frontend) to join our product team. This person will work closely with Product Managers, Technical Product Owners, and development teams to support the delivery of operator-facing features and improvements. This role focuses on turning operator needs and product priorities into clear, actionable requirements, supporting the team throughout the delivery process, and ensuring frequent communication between operators and internal stakeholders. The Product Owner (Frontend) plays an active role in balancing product goals, technical considerations, and compliance requirements while contributing to a collaborative and continuously improving product culture. We are also looking for someone with a strong understanding of Agile practices both in theory and in practice who has supported teams by creating a psychologically safe space for them to grow. This role is located in Espoo, Finland and we expect you to come to the office at least twice a week. Salary for this role will be 4100-4400€/month gross.
YOUR JOB IN A NUTSHELL:
Work closely with Product Managers and Technical Product Owners to shape priorities and refine implementation requirements
Translate operator needs and feature requests into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and user flows
Support the development team during delivery by answering questions, clarifying scope, and unblocking work
Adjust scope when needed while keeping overall feature goals intact and communicating trade-offs clearly
Help define team priorities together with the Product Manager and Technical Product Owner balancing product, operator, technical, and compliance needs
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in JIRA and Confluence
Communicate with operators to understand their requirements and ensure their feedback is reflected in product delivery
Contribute to a psychologically safe team environment that supports learning, growth, and continuous improvement
IN ORDER TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, THESE ARE SOME OF MUST-HAVES:
Interest in product development and familiarity with design thinking principles
A technical mindset, with the ability to break down complex problems into smaller, manageable topics
Experience with UI/UX design and creating prototypes, preferably using Figma
Strong empathy and ability to understand user needs and perspectives
Practical experience working in Agile environments and supporting Agile teams
Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Figma
Clear communication skills and comfort working in cross-functional teams
TO TRULY EXCEL IN THE ROLE, THESE ARE SOME OF THE NICE-TO-HAVES:
Experience with user research and direct user or operator interaction
