From B2C to B2B: Embracing Change and Creativity at Finnplay
Helerin Hannus
Marketing Manager
Being part of Finnplay means being part of something that’s constantly evolving — and that’s exactly the kind of environment I thrive in.
Personal Journey at Finnplay
I joined Finnplay through an internal move within Entain Group, where I had been working as a Brand Manager for the Baltics & Nordics in Estonia for nearly four years. When life brought me to Finland, the idea of transitioning from B2C to B2B marketing really appealed to me. I saw it as a chance to challenge myself and grow in a new direction professionally.
One project I’ve found especially fulfilling has been leading our employer branding efforts — including this employee story series. It’s been such a fun way to get to know my colleagues on a deeper level and share what makes working at Finnplay special.
The learning curve has been real. I found myself attending a major tradeshow just one month into the role, having to handle complex questions on the spot. But I’ve always believed that challenges are the best learning opportunities — and I’ve been lucky to have a supportive team by my side from day one.
Life at Finnplay
One of the great things about marketing is that no two days are the same. Every day brings something new — whether it's an event, a creative brainstorm, or a collaboration with different teams.
What I enjoy most about Finnplay is the supportive work environment where people’s voices are genuinely heard. The work-life balance here is great, and I truly appreciate the multicultural team. It’s rare to see such a diverse group work together so seamlessly — but at Finnplay, it just works.
Beyond Work
To unwind after work, I usually head to the gym, take my dog for a walk, explore new restaurants, or plan travel adventures. But above all, spending time with my family is what recharges me the most.
If I could switch roles with anyone for a day, I’d pick someone from the IT team — I’d love to finally understand exactly what goes on behind the scenes!
